A specialist teacher (TEFL) also provides structured language programmes for the occasional pupil who may not have English as their first language.

Pupils are expected to behave with courtesy and consideration for others and to develop a sense of responsibility. Discipline in the school is fair but firm and based on a positive ethos with the use of rewards and sanctions.
