Physical Education

At Greenholme we believe that physical education and enjoyment of sport has a vital role to play in the curriculum.  It provides the opportunity for all children to be physically active.

On site facilities enable all pupils to participate in sporting activities.

There is daily involvement in games such as netball, hockey, tag-rugby, cricket, soccer, rounders, athletics, tennis and swimming.

In addition to local competitive matches the school participates in regional and national ISA sporting events, which broadens children’s experience of sport at higher and wider levels.

We also provide opportunities for our pupils to attend high quality sporting events at Wimbledon, Twickenham and Trent Bridge amongst others.
