At Greenholme School we encourage all children to enjoy learning French from Reception age right up to the end of Key Stage 2.  We achieve this by making lessons fun, motivating and accessible through using songs, games, role-play and rhymes among other activities.  In this way, our pupils develop the skills necessary to learning a new language as well as increasing their confidence and desire to communicate in that language.

Whilst enjoyment is our top priority, we also deliver a structured course which ensures continuity, so that our pupils leave at the end of Year Six with an excellent foundation for language study at Key Stage 3 and beyond.
