Design Technology

Our key aim is to nurture creativity, innovation and encourage imaginative thinking as pupils learn to engage with today’s technologies. As children extend their knowledge of materials and their properties in science, so they learn to design and invent practical solutions to problems presented to them.

Work progresses from designing static models to ones with moving parts generating tremendous excitement and a great sense of achievement, as our children learn the skills they will need to meet the challenges of the technologies of the future.
